The World Health Organization (WHO) recently published an article outlining the cancerogenic effects of red meat, which wildly grabbed the attention of meat-lovers around the world. The study concluded there to be sufficient evidence to prove eating processed meat (hot dogs, ham, bacon, etc.) causes colorectal cancer. The risk small, only about 18%, for every 50g of processed meat you consume.

Bolivia’s health minister recommends that you replace your beef and pork with llama meat. Yep, you read that right. It’s high in protein and low in fat and can be found in high-end restaurants as a luxurious alternative to the common farm animals.
