A study published in the British Medical Journal found that heads of government lived an average of 2.7 years shorter and had a 23% greater risk of dying when compared to the runners-up who never served as heads of state.

Researchers concluded that “elected leaders may indeed age more quickly“. However, the study’s senior author, Dr. Anupam Jena of Harvard Medical School, said that losing a few years of life is “insignificant”.

What does this say about our Canadian Prime Minister, Mr. Justin Trudeau? The world can’t stop swooning over our smoking-hot syrupy fox of a leader.

He’s also about a decade younger than Obama, outdoorsy and in good health. Perhaps he’s not destined for the grey hair and wrinkles…
