Meet the tampon-like speaker that enables your in-womb baby to listen to some tunes.

This “Babypod” can be seen here in action as it broadcasts music for the fetus from inside the vagina.

Its development followed a Spanish study that concluded 18 to 26-week-old fetuses capable of hearing sounds because they moved their mouths and tongues in response to intravaginal music.

However, this finding is far from convincing and many scientists do not agree on the hearing abilities of young fetuses.

There it is. An intimate tech device for your baby. Who knows…it may even make them smarter.
