Several studies have suggested that men are more attracted to women who are ovulating due to some subconscious ability to sniff out higher estrogen levels.

The more estrogen a woman produces, the more fertile she is, the better chances of reproductive success and having your genes carry on to the next generation. Makes sense.

What about from a woman’s point of view? If men are more attracted to an ovulating woman than a non-ovulating one, how are ovulating women perceived by other women?

Threatening. Women were shown images of women and although they did not find ovulating women more attractive, they did find them to be more threatening.
